Rebecca Deterding received her undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska – Kearney in business administration with an accounting emphasis. She began her career at Summitsoft Corporation in Omaha, a $10 million computer software developer and publisher of graphics products sold in major national retailers. In her ten years there, she advanced from Accounting & Operations Manager to Vice President and finally CFO. During that time, she obtained her MBA from Bellevue University and her Nebraska CPA certificate. She has spent the last three years as the CFO of the YMCA of Greater Omaha, a leading non-profit with nine full-service locations in the Omaha area, spanning four counties in two states and serving over 60,000 members and 100,000 program participants. She directs the finance, payroll, business services and IT functions for this $24 million organization.
Rebecca and her husband, Will, have been married for over 13 years and they have two boys: Harrison aged four and Jude who is almost two. The kids keep them busy and they enjoy spending time outdoors in nice weather and watching movies or doing house projects in not-so-nice weather.
